Damaris Clipbarcode

Introduction

Damaris Clipbarcode task imports Barcodes list and executes several functions depending on Barcode sequence.

In this article you will find functional and technical details for Damaris RM Clipbarcode.

 

Here are known Barcode Readers compatible with Damaris Clipbarcode:

  • Opticon OPN 2001
  • Opticon OPN 2006
  • Pidion BI500

 

How does it work ?

For “No Interface” Barcode Readers (OPN 2001 et OPN 2006) you have to read function Barcode before reading objects Barcode.

So, you have to follow the general workflow:

  1. Read Function Barcode
  2. Read Objects Barcode depending on Chosen Function

Box Reception

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Receive Box Barcode (DMRRECEIVEBOX2)
  2. Read Box Code 1
  3. Read Box Code 2
  4. Read Box Code n

 

File Reception

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Receive File Barcode (DMRRECEIVEART)
  2. Read File Code 1
  3. Read File Code 2
  4. Read File Code n

 

Box Localization

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Box Localization Barcode (DMRLOCALBOX3)
  2. Read Storage Address 1
  3. Read Box Code 1
  4. Read Box Code 2
  5. Read Box Code n
  6. Read Box Localization Barcode (DMRLOCALBOX3)
  7. Read Storage Address 2
  8. Read Box Code x
  9. Read Box Code y

Warning: All Boxes will be localized on the same Address. Each time you want to change storage address, please renew the operation by reading function Barcode again.

 

File Localization

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read File Localization Barcode (DMRLOCALART1)
  2. Read Storage Address 1
  3. Read File Code 1
  4. Read File Code 2
  5. Read Box Code n
  6. Read File Localization Barcode (DMRLOCALART1)
  7. Read Storage Address 2
  8. Read File Code x
  9. Read File Code y

Warning: All Files will be localized on the same Address. Each time you want to change storage address, please renew the operation by reading function Barcode again.

 

Box Relocalization

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Box Relocalization Barcode (DMRRELOCALBOX1)
  2. Read Storage Address 1
  3. Read Box Code 1
  4. Read Box Code 2
  5. Read Box Code n
  6. Read Box Relocalization Barcode (DMRRELOCALBOX1)
  7. Read Storage Address 2
  8. Read Box Code x

File Relocalization

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  7. Read Storage Address 2

Box Inventory

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Box Inventory Barcode (DMRINVENTBOXA)

  5. Read Box Code n
  6. Read Box Inventory Barcode (DMRINVENTBOXA)
  7. Read Storage Address 2
  8. Read Box Code x
  9. Read Box Code y

Warning: All Boxes will be inventoried on the same Address. Each time you want to change storage address, please renew the operation by reading function Barcode again.

 

File Inventory

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read File Inventory Barcode (DMRINVENTART8)
  2. Read Storage Address 1
  3. Read File Code 1
  4. Read File Code 2
  5. Read File Code n
  6. Read File Inventory Barcode (DMRINVENTART8)
  7. Read Storage Address 2
  8. Read File Code x
  9. Read File Code y

Warning: All Files will be inventoried on the same Address. Each time you want to change storage address, please renew the operation by reading function Barcode again.

 

Files Packaging

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read File Packaging Barcode (DMRPACKAGFILE8)
  2. Read Box Code where File will be packaged
  3. Read File Code

 

After this operation, File will be packaged in the Box.

 

Check Out / Check In / Put On Place

This function is sequential. Each time you read a given File Code or Box Code you change the request status.

Here is request status sequence:

  1. Validated (From Damaris RM interface)
  2. Check Out
  3. Check In
  4. Put On Place

 

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Check Out / Check In / Put On Place (DMRREQUESTTREAT)
  2. Read Box Code or File Code

 

 

Check Out

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Check Out (DMRSORTIE1)
  2. Read Box Code or File Code

 

This function tries to check out a validated request. If the Box Code or File Code is available for this function, it is executed, if not, the request’s status doesn’t change.

 

Check In

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Check In (DMRRETOUR1)
  2. Read Box Code or File Code

 

This function tries to check in a checked out request. If the Box Code or File Code is available for this function, it is executed, if not, the request’s status doesn’t change.

 

Put On Place

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Put On Place (DMRRANGEMENT1)
  2. Read Box Code or File Code

 

This function tries to Put in place a checked in request. If the Box Code or File Code is available for this function, it is executed, if not, the request’s status doesn’t change.

 

Unpackage Box

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Unpackage Box (DMREXTRACTBOX1)
  2. Read Box Code

 

This function tries to extract the box found by its Box Code. If the box was packaged in another box, it is extracted from the bigger one.

 

Unpackage File

In this case, please use the following Workflow:

  1. Read Unpackage Box (DMREXTRACTFILE1)
  2. Read Box File

 

This function tries to extract the file found by its File Code. If the File was packaged in another box, it is extracted from it.

 

SCANNED.TXT File Format

Here is a sample SCANNED.TX file, CSV format.

Fields separator is comma ‘,’

Record separator is CR + LF.
